After decades of journaling and many years of blogging, the dream of publishing a book is becoming a reality. Crafting is fun and fills the space in between, but publishing something for families to enjoy fills my cup.

Imagination is only limited by fears. Overcome those, and you'll soar!

Hey There ~

It warms my heart that you're here!
​
I have been drawing since I could pick up a pencil, from doodle animals to the occasional human.
When not drawing, I am snuggled up with my two dogs and husband Tim watching anime or taking long walks in the woods near our apartment.
​
If you have any questions, concerns, or requests, please don't hesitate to send me a note. I'll gladly assist where possible.

Liam
This St. Bernard/Black Lab pup became part of the Mire Family at the age of 7 weeks old, in December of 2011. He's full of love for humans, other animals, peanut butter, swimming and hiking the woods.

Join Liam on his adventures as he meets many fun creatures and learns many loving lessons along the way.
Britt
She's a strong gal who loves animals, flowers and doing the right thing when presented with a fork in the road.
Britt's name is on honor of her grandfather's Britton (not Brittany as many tend to assume). ​

Tamias
Tamias is a sweet and young chipmunk who gets more than he's bargained for. Thankfully he has wise parents to see him through.
​
Tamias is named after the scientific name for chipmunk.

Jettie the flying squirrel makes his debut at The Mire Shire while sleeping!​

Skip the grasshopper is bored and finds himself in a bind. Does he get out of it?​
