Hanging Out With Loved Ones

One of my favorite things is to be inspired by others.

My best friend and I were shopping at the Livingston Antiques Mall in Michigan, we like to call those days, "OLD" = Old Lady Days. We are old souls and enjoy breaking away for a few hours to dive headfirst into the product lifestyles that were not so complex and shiny.

Upon our wandering, we saw this booth vendor had a trouser/pants hanger with a 5 x 7 picture hanging from it.

In that moment I thought, "How crafty and cute! Why stop there?".

Fast forward to researching how much a hanger on average costs: about $5 dollars. Walgreens printing is inexpensive, and deals are run often - so why not?!

I had patience and stumbled upon a great vendor selling hangers on Etsy. Ended up snagging 29 trouser/pant hangers for less than $3 each. Timing is everything. One mans unwanted items are another man’s art pieces.

Most projects - if you're almost there and have 1 thing you just can't seem to fit? Wait. Take a breath and see what turns up. Patience is a virtue but worth it in the end.

Keep in mind this is a LOT of space and fun with this design. Don't be afraid to use just 1 or a couple for displaying. They work for youngster’s artwork as well.

It's fun to bring printed pictures back into the Mire Shire. When you don't want to dust frames and desire the freedom to change things up, this is a unique way to do it. When we walk by this wall, it's a reminder of how much we are loved and should celebrate one another. That's a great bonus!

I encourage you to step outside the closet a bit and see what you can dream up with them.

Glad you stopped by! Hope to see you in the future.
