When you have a dream, there are believers and there are naysayers. They will come at you with speed, force and hidden compassion (if you look deep enough).

The community in which you surround yourself with is going to be what makes or breaks you. Choose wisely.

Godly gifts come in all shapes, sizes and intensities. I say this because, most of my life flowers have been my grace - design, knowledge, excitement, ease/comfort, desire & part of what makes me, me.

After 20 years of doing custom wedding flowers/floral design, I am taking a step back. To date, I don't have any weddings for 2020. That comes to mind as not an accident or lack of engaged family/friends but a nudge of clarity.

Embracing the writer inside that's been cultivated in journals over the past 30 years and blogging for these past 3 years has me excited for a literary adventure.

My love for kiddos and the gentle tap on my inner child's shoulder has been a revolution and an awaking.

Previous business sense/background has rewarded me with confidence, wisdom, patience & clarity on what steps lay ahead. Letting things unfold as they naturally do and not to rush through any phase thus far.

Searching for a purpose is a lifelong journey. This is just one stop along the way for me as much life is left to live.

Failure could happen. With a strong community you'll get through it. Wouldn't be my first failure or last.

With my community of goodness (taken years to clean house) that surrounds my family, overwhelmingly responded to 1 picture posted and tease of a potential book coming.

None of my floral arrangements gained that kind of excitement. So... all signs point to, "I hear you, Lord. I am tuning in and changing my course".

Taking 2019 to "be still" allowed me to hear and feel things I hadn't in a very long time. 2020 has proven to be the year of action.

So, with all that, I'd love to tell you officially ...

  • A book has been written and illustrated (by Lauren B. Hill)

  • Pursuing publishing and choosing carefully

  • Another 2 other books have been written

  • Being reviewed/edited

  • Currently, redesigning The Shire Repurposed website

  • To include these creations

  • Engaging family fun

  • About the Author & Illustrator

  • Pre-order Options

  • Landed a song for the website from a splendid artist (Jeremy Fackntiz)

As my dear friend Joi said years ago, "Step out on faith". That is what's happening yet again and instead of a romance, it's with love for pieces of me that desired attention.

Thanks for your love and support. That's the most important superpower. Spread that like wildflower seeds.

Sneak-peek below!
